BSN® athlete Conor “The Notorious” McGregor is an Irish-born MMA fighter and current UFC Featherweight champion.  His fame transcends the Octagon; Conor is a pop culture icon in his homeland, and across the globe.

At age 19, McGregor made his professional MMA debut, defeating his opponent by second round TKO. Shortly thereafter, McGregor started an undefeated streak of 14 wins; twelve by knockout, nine the first round, one in a record-setting 4 seconds.  After winning the Cage Warriors Fighting Championship Featherweight belt, Conor immediately moved up to Lightweight and won the CWFC title there, too, becoming the first Irishman to ever hold concurrent MMA titles in any promotion.

The UFC took notice, signing McGregor to a multi-fight contract and making him only the second fighter from the Republic of Ireland to ever compete in the UFC, and the first to ever secure a win in the UFC.  Many more dominant victories, numerous awards, and the Featherweight title soon followed.
